Bowen Island

Yesterday, Saturday the 03.05.2014, we took the bus to Horseshoe Bay. Thats the bay from where the ferries to Vancouver Island and to sunshine coast. Our origin plan was to visit the village and to see a part of West Vancouver, that's where the rich people lives. But as soon as we arrived in horeshoe bay village our plan changed. The village is very smal and we had seen it after 30min, so we decided to take the ferry to Bowen Island. The ferry to Bowen Island is one of the smallest one, that means about the size of the ferry that crosses the lake of Zurich. The sailing time was about 20min and so we reached the Island at about 1 P.M. Once arrived on the island we made a little hike of about 3 hours to the Killarney Lake and back to the ferry port, where we drank a beer and had dinner in a lovely pub. After dinner we returned to Vancouver and had a funny evening in a dance club.
